Cees VandenEnden was born and educated in the Netherlands. He grew up on a vegetable plant propagation farm, and later owned and managed the farm for 20 years, together with his wife Elly. Cees, Elly and the children immigrated to Canada in 1988, and after setting up and managing a plant propagation farm, and several greenhouse operations, he started HortiSource Consulting Inc. in 2003. HortiSourceConsulting is a management and crop consulting company in the greenhouse industry that helps its customers with crop and labour management, as well as project development and help with issuing insurance claims.
